Theories of justice, adversarial and inquisitorial systems, and debates on punishment and rehabilitation.
The work of the role
- Guide students through socio-legal theory, criminology, and critical legal perspectives.
- Design and facilitate seminar discussion using empirical research, case law, and normative debate.
- Assess coursework and examinations against university marking criteria and academic integrity standards.
- Provide academic support through written feedback.
- Work with module convenors so seminar delivery, learning outcomes, and assessment stay aligned.
